SA Bodysculpture is a form of liposculpture that has been developed by Dr. Sant Antonio to remove excess fat deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise. A local or tumescent anesthesia is used, therefore general anesthesia is not necessary. Very small instruments called micro cannulas are used to remove the fat, and sculpt and shape the body. There is minimal downtime associated with the procedure. Most patients are back to their normal activities in about 2 – 3 days. Patients usually start to see improvement in the treatment areas in about 7 – 10 days, once some of the initial swelling decreases. However, it does take about 3 – 4 months to see the final result. Following your procedure, we believe in educating patients on maintaining the results by encouraging healthy lifestyles with diet and exercise in order to obtain the best result possible.

How much weight someone loses following the procedure will vary. We have had patients lose up to 60lbs over a 3 – 4 month period. Everyone definitely loses inches and usually at least 1 – 2 sizes in their clothes. SA Bodysculpture gives patients the opportunity to change their body shape no matter how much they weigh. Depending on your size and weight, the procedure may need to be done in stages as there is a limit as to how much we can do in one session.
